Thank you to everyone who joined us for our “five” themed concert in May featuring Beethoven, Haydn and local composer Adrian Sutton. Our season finale in July is on the way with the fabulous ‘London Symphony’ by Vaughan Williams on the programme. We are delighted to welcome back mezzo-soprano soloist Jessica Gillingwater who joins us for Elgar’s ‘The Music Makers’ alongside our first ever partnership with a choir, the London Concert Chorus! On Saturday 17th August, we’re having a Summer Repertoire day where we’ll be playing through the first movement of Mahler’s 2nd Symphony as well as tackling Holst’s Somerset Rhapsody.
