We rehearse at Beckenham Methodist Church, near Beckenham Junction on Thursday evenings from 7.30 – 9.45 (with a suitable break for tea and cake!) We usually have 5 or 6 rehearsals prior to each concert – full details are on our members page, and details of our forthcoming programmes are on our concerts page.

We are very interested to hear from all string instruments and brass players of grade 8 standard or above and/or substantial experience of playing with large ensembles.

Although some orchestral sections are currently full, we keep a list of extras, as we need deps from time to time, so do please get in touch if you are interested in playing with us and your instrument is not listed above. We are particularly interested in new  violinists at the moment!

To get the best out of playing with the Orchestra we recommend that any new starters have grade 8+ skills or have substantial experience of playing in large ensembles.  When contacting us, please let us know a little about yourself and your playing experience.
